Camelot Custom Homes built a fantastic house for our family. In addition to the top quality construction, they offered valuable pre-construction consultation services. Worked with us and our architect through the design of our home and also material selections. Our architect wanted only the nicest fanciest materials. Camelot, on the other hand, offered suggestions on where we might save money on materials. This gave us some options to save money where expensive materials would not be noticed and then we had additional budget for more expensive materials in high traffic areas. We also appreciated the proactive communications....whether good or bad, Camelot Construction was direct and transparent about what was happening. We always felt informed. Paul Streeter from Camelot Homes built an 8,000 sq foot home for me and my husband in the hills outside of Austin. This was a very large project which was completed in 2008. Our experience with Paul was wonderful - we became friends in the process and remain friends to this day, which I think speaks enormously about the quality of the communication between us and about the overall experience. The home turned out to be amazing - many people who see it comment on the quality of the design and construction. Paul is more than just the overseer of the building process - he has a great eye for design which made a big difference in the final result. Paul Streeter saved us! We had a somewhat difficult project on a very sloped lot that left other builders scratching their heads and quoting us high prices. We were feeling like it would never happen when our architect pulled Paul into our project. He stepped in and made it look like childs play.
